Next door: Jonidło and the riverside path

Jonidło Ecological Education Centre (ul. Wyzwolenia 67) is ≈ 300 m away, about a 4-minute walk. The footpath and cycle path along the Vistula starts ≈ 400 m from the house; it is part of the Greenway Kraków–Moravia–Vienna and the Main Carpathian Cycle Route.

In winter: ski lifts minutes away

The closest is the Nowa Osada ski area: ≈ 1.3 km on foot or ≈ 2.2 km by car (about 4 minutes). The Siglany lifts and Skolnity Ski & Bike Park are similarly close. Cieńków in Wisła-⁠Malinka is about 7 minutes by car, Soszów about 12.

Nowa Osada, Siglany, Cieńków and Soszów are on the shared WISPASS ski pass for the 2026/27 season. Cross-country trails are at Kubalonka Pass, ≈ 8.5 km away.

In summer and autumn: the river, trails and Barania Góra

On the western slopes of Barania Góra rise the Czarna and Biała Wisełka, the source streams of the Vistula. One of the trails to the summit follows the Czarna Wisełka valley; the car park at its start in Wisła-⁠Czarne is ≈ 6 km from the villa, about 9 minutes by car.

Wisła-⁠Czarne is also home to the Presidential Castle (≈ 6.6 km by car), open for guided tours booked in advance. The Czantoria chairlift in Ustroń is about 12 minutes away, and the Czech border (Jasnowice – Bukovec) about 26 minutes.

In December: the Ski Jumping World Cup

From 4 to 6 December 2026 Wisła-⁠Malinka hosts women's and men's FIS Ski Jumping World Cup competitions: Friday the women's individual event and qualifications, Saturday the men's and women's individual events, Sunday the men's individual event. The Adam Małysz ski jump is ≈ 3.7 km from the villa, about 6 minutes by car. Programme: fis-ski.com.

Getting here without a car

The nearest railway stop is Wisła Dziechcinka, ≈ 1.5 km from the villa (about 20 minutes on foot). Koleje Śląskie line S6 trains run daily from Katowice to Wisła Głębce.

The nearest bus stop, Wisła Gościejów, is on ul. Wyzwolenia, ≈ 500 m away. The nearest airports are Ostrava (about 1 h 10 min by car), Katowice and Kraków (about 2 h each).
